Partners and Profiles

The VSA partners with various organisations, businesses, schools and governments to help promote and grow the sport of skateboarding within the State of Victoria. We recognise and acknowledge the good work of our partners.

VSA is recognised as a State Sporting Association (SSA). The VSA’s principle partner is the Victorian State Government through Sport and Recreation Victoria (SRV). The VSA applies to SRV for grant funding to assist in the development of our programs.

Victorian Amateur League
The VSA recognises the Victorian YMCA as the Victorian Amateur Skateboarding League Series Manager. The YMCA is sanctioned by the VSA to conduct this series. The YMCA adopts the Policies, Procedures and Regulations for the management of this series.

2011 South Eastern League Council Partners
The VSA acknowledges the work and commitment that the following Local Government Associations put in to the development of young people, the skate community and the sport of skateboarding.

Australian Skateboard Racing Association (ASRA)
ASRA is recognised by VSA as the national sanctioning organisation for downhill and slalom skateboard racing. The ASRA website is www.skateboardracing.org.au
